The chalets of the Waterberg Plateau Lodge are nestled in the bush on a rock terrace on the slope of the Waterberg.
Your hiking guide climbs the plateau with you (approx. 150 m above the plains). He explains plants and animals in the park to you and gives you an insight into the daily life and culture of the Herero people living in this area. Terrific view of the valley or of the plains of the Kalahari.
Living in nature: Each chalet is equipped with a private terrace, offering a view to the plains of the Kalahari and a plunge pool to cool down.
Drive through the Kalahari bush savannah in the nature reserve at the foot of the Waterberg. Rub shoulders with rhinos and watch giraffe, zebra, wildebeest and other game.
The twin bed chalet with en-suite bathroom and a fireplace offers views to the plains of the Kalahari
Guests of the lodge are served breakfast and dinner (set menu, three course) while they enjoy the 270-degree-panorama view.

Die Chalets der Waterberg Plateau Lodge liegen auf einer Felsterrasse hoch oben am Hang des Waterbergs und bieten großartige Ausblicke auf die endlose Kalahari-Busch-Savanne. Jedes der Doppelzimmer-Chalets liegt zwischen roten Sandsteinfelsen inmitten von grünem Busch, wobei absolute Privatsphäre garantiert ist. Akazien spenden Schatten auf der Terrasse; ein mit Quellwasser gefülltes Tauchbecken sorgt für Abkühlung und lockt Vögel und Kleinwild an.
